Freesat installation

If you're looking for a satellite installer in Bridgend I'm here to help... Freesat is a digital satellite TV service from the BBC and ITV, offering even more free channels than are available on Freeview. There are no ongoing fees, but you'll need a dish fitted to your home to receive it. You may also need a Freesat compatible television, set-top box or PVR, some of which allow you to pause and rewind live TV. Whatever your requirements I can help with Freesat installation.

Whereas Freeview offers 70 TV channels, 15 HD channels, & more than 30 radio stations, Freesat tops that by giving access to more than 200 Channels, with over 20 HD Channels. How do I get Freesat?

 

To receive Freesat Sky or any other European satellite TV service in Bridgend you'll need an existing satellite dish on your house, or have one installed. Give me a call to book an installation. You could also receive freesat in more rooms in your home but, you may need to upgrade your LNB to a quad or octo. Enabling multiroom viewing in upto 8 other rooms. Or if more rooms are needed then the possibilities are endless with multiswitch installation.

If your satellite dish isn't correctly aligned or not pointing toward the right satellite (for freesat this is Astra 2) then you may need to get your dish re-aligned.

Some TVs have built-in satellite tuners meaning they can receive either Freesat or even Freesat HD channels without needing a separate set-top box.  You can buy a Freesat set-top box from about £80, although Freesat HD recordable ones cost a bit more. Modern Freesat boxes have much more functionality with internet services and Freetime program guides for catchup etc.
